Photography Workshops
The best way to learn is in a hands on workshop where you can photograph side by side with your instructor. The Photographers Code offers 4 hands on, in person, photography workshops. These workshops run 3 times a year for general signup or they can be put on for private clubs, groups, or even one on one training.
Introduction To Flash
This photography workshop focuses on one of the least understood pieces of gear in your came bag – your flash. Yet, the flash can be one of the most powerful tools in your bag – once you know how to use it correctly.
The Introduction to Flash workshop will give you a foundation of how your flash works, and how to control it on or off camera. This course is highly recommended as a prerequisite for The Art Of Studio Portraits workshop.

The Art Of Studio Portrait Lighting
Learn how to use studio strobes and handheld flashes to create compelling portraits that extend beyond the likeness of a person.
In this workshop you will explore various lighting techniques and ideas. Starting with single light portraits, you will build up to using multiple lights to create a portrait.
The Art Of Portrait Lighting photography workshops is the perfect workshop for any photographer that wants to level up there portrait photography game.

Beginning Lightroom - 4 hour Private Workshop
This workshop is hands on and starts with an exploration of the Library and Develop Modules interface. Then we will deep dive into these modules, exploring such things as importing and backing up your images, keywords, collections, the tools pallet, the tone curve, presets and many other areas. We will then apply this knowledge to retouching in Lightroom. This workshop is spread over two days, 2 hours each day.

Camera Club Photography Workshops
Looking for photography workshops or speakers for your photography club? How about a private lesson for yourself or a small group of friends?
The Photographers code offers a number of photography workshops designed specifically for that purpose. Our workshops include classes on small flash photography for portraiture, Studio portrait lighting, Lighting portraits with natural light. The photography workshop can range from 90 minutes to 6 hours in length. And depending upon the length of the workshop and the subject, they can be straight lecture style or intensive, hands on workshops designed to give maximum student participation.
